Since it doesn't show any problems (or any entries past April 19th), I assume that your client is just outdated. Thus, updating PunkBuster should (hopefully) solve your issue (see post #3).

downloading update keeps failing, iv save the file manually in pb folder that hasn't worked either iv also reinstalled pb shall i re install the game?

i do think its something to do with the deleted trojans found in battlefield folder the 19th was probably when the 1st trojan was found what do you think??

Sounds to me like your anti-virus is detecting PB as a false positive.
Instead of removing the "virus", just press ignore or allow to see if this helps

Take a look at the last fix in post #3 You'll need to update PB, either by using PBSetup, or manually.

Okay i uninstalled it
restarted my computer
installed it again

tried to play but still kicked ???

BTW i did that before many times before i posted my problem when i tried to find a solution

Okay, sorry for that mistake

So i opened the manually link, and downloaded the file, i don't know what to do next
is it like that done or what

an htm file has been downloaded

To manually update PB, right-click on the 3 file links shown at the download page and select "Save target as" and download them to the pb subfolder inside your game folder, as described on the website.

Make sure that PunkBuster doesn't get blocked by your firewall/anti-virus/security-suite.
Also, try following the instructions given in that video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbcZaMeRbHQ

If it doesn't help, try lowering the in-game resolution and/or level of details (your machine might not be able to handle the workload it got Wink ), and clear the game's shader cache (read: delete all it's contents), located at:

1st off, tone down your language if you expect to get any help around here.

2nd, attach your pbcl.log as shown in post 1 of this thread.

I found that the program "Dyyno Broadcaster" (what let you broadcast your game live) is found as "RESTRICTION: Multiple Direct3D loaded-A" by mistake...
Can you solve this? Or maybe there is a way that it will work without any special update? Thx

oh man pb wont update still keeps failing.. downloaded it manually does nothing tried with anti virus off and the same..... restored the battlefield virus files still dont work .........still keep getting kicked by punkbuster you checked my log there was no probs .....what nxt????? reinstall whole game do you lose your soldiers & money if i do that???

punk buster
