Hi there! So, you are new to this game right? Here's a guide just for you.

Have any questions? Ask here and I'll answer!

Getting started
This game is a different compared to other games, as many abilities need to be unlocked. If you don't know how to do something don't try to do it while in-game, you may end up failing and annoying your teammates. You'll often hear about training points: they are special points that you earn by leveling up, and every time you'll need more XP to do that. XP (experience points) are the points that you earn at the end of each round (it's your score).

Common general Q & A
1) How to throw grenades? You need to unlock the ability in the training section
2) How to sprint (run)? Press Shift key (default)
3) How to enter in a helicopter/plane? You need to unlock the ability in the training section
4) How to get new weapons? Weapons can be buyed in the weapons section. You can use game credits or Battlefounds.
5) How to earn credits? At the moment you can earn credits only by playing, no matter what you do or how you play. Look in this guide for more info.
6) How to earn Battlefounds? You have to buy them with real money. On the website, look for the "Get Battlefounds" box and follow the instructions.
7) What is the Tracer Dart gun (the pistol with only one shot)? How to use it? The Tracer Dart gun is for tracking enemy vehichles. If you see an enemy vehichle, shoot it once with this gun so your team's engineers can kill them easier as RPG missiles are guided by this tracers.
8) Is there bullet drop? Yes, this game has got bullet drop. This means that if you shoot, your bullet will slowly move down. You'll notice this especially if you're a sniper.
9) What is spotting and how to do that? Spotting means communicating enemies' position to teammates so your team can see them and take them down easily. To do that, press "Q" button and click on "spotted" while aiming at the enemy with the crosshair. This can be done with one button too, look in this guide for more details.
10) Why I can't go prone? Because there's no prone position in this game.
11) Is there a server browser? Server browser has not been implemented yet, hopefully there will be one soon.
12) Is it possible to bookmark a server? Yes, there is a key to add it to favourites but I'm not sure that it works right now...
13) Can I take other players' kits like in BF 1942? No, you can't.
14) Can I change weapon/kit ingame? [No, you can't.[i]

Assault soldier Q & A
1) What are Ammo Boxes? [i]Ammo Boxes, as their name says, are special boxes that can refill your and teammates' ammo (but enemies too!). You get a lot of XPs for that.

Medic soldier Q & A
1) What are Medic Boxes? Medic Boxes, as the name says, are special boxes that can heal you and nearby teammates (but enemies too!). You get a lot of XPs for healing teammates.
2) What are the Defibrillators? How to use them? Defibrillators are a special tool that can revive teammates who got killed by bullets (it won't work if they were killed by exploding stuff). You have to act fast as dead teammates disappear quickly. In emergency situations, they can be used to kill enemies too. To use them you have to select them and press "fire" button while aiming at the body (or enemy).

Engineer soldier Q & A
1) How to use the RPG? Look in this guide for detailed explanation
2) How to use Anti-Vehichle Mines? Just drop them on the ground, possibly on a high-traffic path, and forget about them. When an enemy vehichle will drive on them, the mines will explode, dealing around 700 damage points. The mines disappear if you die.
3) What is the Vehichle Repair Tool? As the name says, this tool is used to repair damaged vehichles (yet not destroyed). Select it and press "fire" button while aiming to a nearby vehichle to slowly repair it. You'll get points only if a teammate is inside.

Recon soldier Q & A
1) What is the Motion Sensor (that spheric thing)? The Motion Sensor is a special tool for spotting enemies and enemy vehichles. Throw it and for a while, if an enemy comes in-range, your whole team will see it on the Minimap. Very useful if you want to snipe and you want to cover your back.
2) How to use Claymore Mines? After unlocking them, simply plant them pointing towards the side where an enemy could come from. Useful if you want to cover your back, works great is you plant them at the top of the ladders or behind corners. Anyway, an enemy can still survive if he unlocked the ability to avoid them and this mines can still be detonated if anybody shoots them once. They disappear when you die.

Tips
1) Don't take the vehichles if you're not good at driving them. That's very very annoying. Let more experienced teammates do that. This game is teamwork-based so if you let a better driver to get in it would be better. Get in vehichles only if nobody is taking them. On Oman, don't take the choppers if you don't know how to drive them! I've already seen a lot of players doing that and ending up with killing teammates. Don't think that you're gonna "rain death from above" from the beginning, piloting is not so easy. You need to practice first. To do that, download the BF2 demo and read guides, and start piloting only when you are good. Same drill for jets.
2) Since the game doesn't have prone position try to hide as less as possible behind low cover. Your head will still be visible so you'll still be an easy target for snipers and good players. Hiding behind corners is much better.
3) Trace vehichles. Many players think that this is a non-important thing to do but actually, this is one of the first duties of every soldier. If you trace a vehichle your engineer teammates will be able to destroy them much easier, and your team will be free to advance safe. Also, you often get points for "Tracer Dart Kill Assist" so take advantage!
4) Deploy Medic and Ammo Boxes. Many players are lazy about doing that but it's very important for you and your team to do that as this boxes can be very handy while attacking/defending a flag. As I said, you get a points very quickly so take advantage - it doesn't cost you anything to press a button every now and then.
5) Cooperate with nearby teammates. Teamwork is the very essence of this game and a small group with 4-5 players can be much more powerful than 4-5 "one man army".
6) Try to predict what your enemy is going to do. Remember to give a look to the minimap, you'll often see enemies coming from somewhere. Try to guess what they're going to do and then think of how to take them out (if possible, without running out of cover). If you do this with a small group of players, you have a great chance to get some nice kills and help your whole team. It's also very sactisfying when you take out a lot of enemies while they don't realise where bullets are coming from.
7) Listen. 99% of players don't do that. If you focus on the sound you can hear enemies' footsteps and shouts. If you learn to understand where the sound is coming from you can easily kill them without getting hit. Try to remember every sound that you can produce (throwing grenades, walking, shooting, reloading) and use this to your advantage.
8) Keep in your mind that your soldier is a righty so you'll have the advantage on left-corners and you'll be disadvantaged in right-corners. Also, you will throw the grenade with the right hand so make sure that there's nothing on its way.
Lol, the guide isn't complete I see. It seems cut off.
*reserved for adds*
